A B O U T

In 2007, local AA members realized there was a need for a young  people’s committee and in May 2008 they held their first elections and  DCYPAA was formed.

By getting involved in AA service and practicing  its principles in our daily lives, we show that sobriety can be
comfortable and long lasting.

We host various sober functions in the  hope that newcomers will find a new way of life through meeting  other young alcoholics, hearing the message of recovery, and  realizing that sobriety can be fun!

DCYPAA adheres to and is organized according to the principles  of AA, the 12 Traditions of AA, and the 12 Concepts for World Service. It is in no way separate from Alcoholics Anonymous as a whole and represents an addition to its existing services.
